The Norfolk Show

Everyone in Woodpeckers and Hedgehogs had a wonderful warm day at the Norfolk Show!

The children looked round many different stalls, collected stickers, sat on different transport, played games and quizzes, enjoyed taking part in arts and craft and saw many different animals!

We all had a great day out in the sunshine and thank you to all the parents who were able to help make this possible!
Woodpecker class had a furry visitor earlier in the week!
Maya very kindly brought in her rabbits for show and tell.

The children sat very still the rabbits came around the circle to say hello. Everyone enjoyed stroking them and said how adorable they are! They all asked Maya many questions and were excited when one managed to escape under a table!

A Scottish Visitor

We were lucky to have Jasmine's Dad come in to school and talk to us about life in Scotland.

We heard about the Lock Ness monster Nessy, heard about how to make Haggis and read a haggis bashing story, we looked at the St Andrew's flag and talked about the weather. We looked a pictures of kilts and looked at his families tartan.

He very kindly brought us our own Scottish pencil and a piece of Edinburgh rock to try.

Wild Flowers

We went on a hunt for wild flowers. We used magnifying glasses to get a closer look at the different flowers. There was much discussion about size, colour and shape. We compared different flowers.

Hedgehog's Class Assembly

Firstly thank you to our wonderful audience for coming and supporting us.

We all worked very hard practicing our lines and using our loud voices.

What a lovely celebration of all our hard work.
